Welcome to a space for building emotional support through connecting and sharing stories with others.
Hello, Welcome to Surviving A Day!
Welcome to what I hope will be a quiet, confidential space for self-expression and building emotional resilience. The purpose of this blog is to offer a place to turn when you need advice, emotional support, or a place to express yourself.
My work experience is in education, but my training includes Emotional Intelligence Learning Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am not a therapist, and this website is not a substitute for therapy. Instead, it provides self-help techniques and activities that help with overcoming the effects of negative emotional experiences.
At this web address, you can post comments, read comments by others, or receive personalized messages shared confidentially with only myself, the organizer of this support network. Here, you can expect someone who listens and someone who offers a response by personal request only. Otherwise, I hope to provide useful information on overcoming emotional assaults, building emotional intelligence, and living a purposeful life one day at a time.
Since this blog is a new work in progress, please feel free to leave comments, make suggestions, and offer opinions. I'd love for you to follow and become part of this blog community. Together, we can offer much.
